Dr. Rolando Guillot has a deep-rooted connection to the El Paso Borderplex, which not only shapes his identity but also drives his passion for serving the community. Growing up in this vibrant area, he developed a strong sense of responsibility to contribute positively to the health and well-being of its residents.
After graduating from Cathedral High School as a proud Irishman. He matriculated and the University of Austin where he obtained his bachelor’s in Public Health. Dr. Guillot pursued his dream of becoming a Doctor of Optometry at the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. During his studies, he gained valuable experience in various aspects of eye care, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the management of ocular diseases. His training has equipped him with the latest techniques and knowledge to provide the highest standard of care.
Now he is back at Buena Vista Eye Care, where he started as a High School summer intern. Dr. Guillot is eager to utilize his skills to improve the vision and overall eye health of his fellow community members. He is committed to fostering lasting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their eye care journey. His passion for education and prevention will also play a key role in raising awareness about eye health in the community.
